Ballibay's breathtaking campus and outstanding facilities are a perfect compliment to the great kids and amazing, talented staff we attract each summer. We constantly are improving and upgrading all areas of camp, and we hope you will come to visit us during the summer or any time during our off-season.
Spread out over nearly 75 acres, and surrounded by another 100 hundred acres of gorgeous woodlands, our campus has the feeling of a rural college campus mixed with a classic Pennsylvania farm.
The campus is spread out so that campers walk every day; campers walk through lush wooded areas going to and from meals and cabins, and across broad lawns as they move between activity areas.
Visitors never fail to comment on both the quality and quantity of our program facilities. With three theaters outfitted with state-of-the-art theater technology, a dance building and three full-time studios, a radio station, professional-quality video control room, two rock-n-roll studios, a music building, and a rustic barn housing three art studios and a darkroom, we have some of the finest performing arts facilities to be found at any camp.

Every year we invest in our buildings, equipment, and musical instruments. We keep our art studios well stocked with a wide array of materials. We have an unbelievable collection of costumes, props, fabrics, and furniture for putting up the many plays and musicals we do each summer.
One of the comments we often hear as a parent looks up at yard after yard of costume racks in our costume loft, or at a high-tech audio mixer, is "you are serious about this!" We are.
Our cabins house 10-15 campers, and at least two staff live in each cabin. Cabins are grouped by age and grade.
All cabins have hot water showers, toilets, and electricity. We're rustic, but were not too rustic... Campers and staff unpack and store their luggage and keep their things on shelves in the cabin. Every day the cabins are tidied up by the campers before breakfast, and on Sunday mornings campers and staff work together to do a thorough cleaning.
Campers can request to be in the same cabin using the cabin request form, part of your online account when you register.
Whenever campers are in the cabins there is always at least one staff member supervising.
Our large dining hall seats the entire camp, where campers and staff sit together at tables of 5 or 6. After the first week of camp campers can make seating requests, and tables change each week. Click here for information on our major 2010 dining hall and kitchen expansion project!
We serve outstanding food: fresh, local, healthy, and sustainably produced. See our food website for information on our philosophy of food, our menu, and our outstanding chefs.
We run a "quiet dining hall." The campers and staff put all their energy into rehearsals, projects, classes, lessons, and practicing; and everyone's day is very full. So at meals we sit and enjoy our food, converse, and relax.
